Namibia enlisted our strategic help in selling the country to tourists at the time of the World Cup, 2010 in South Africa. By taking advantage of their geographical position, we were able to position the destination to both to those heading for the World Cup and wishing to tag on a trip to Namibia in the process. And to sell Namibia as an antidote to South Africans and football widows alike who wanted nothing to do with the game, and the World Cup circus surrounding it.
